Prof. Marija Maksin from IAUS presented the proposed indicators and criteria for the selection of projects, while Dr. Siniša Trkulja from MCTI spoke about  the instruments for implementation of the Strategy. After each presentation, a discussion was opened. The theme of indicators proved to be important for discussion. On the one hand, some participants saw that it was crucial  to monitor the implementation of projects. On the other hand, there was a discussion about the missing data for monitoring the proposed number of indicators. The representative of the Statistical Office pointed to the already initiated activities at the national level in monitoring of sustainable development goals  (UN SDGs). It was concluded that the proposed set of indicators will be revised with representatives of local institutions, who expressed their readiness to provide additional suggestions. The proposed set of indicators is in line with the introduction of local information systems, but also significant topics such as land consumption, and changes in land use.
