At the beginning of October 2017, a second workshop regarding the development of the Web shop strategy took place in the Serbian Republic Geodetic Authority (RGA). The workshop was once again led by the GIZ/AMBERO/ICON expert, Mr. Jürgen Vahlhaus. The two-day workshop took place just a few days after the RGA experts’ visit to the Intergeo 2017 fair in Berlin with the aim of transferring the knowledge and impressions on the current trends in the development of the web shop solution, as well as the information on contacts made at the fair to all the other members of the working group. Besides that, the intention was to consider all the aspects of the future solution in detail in order to develop the first version of the strategy based on that.
Due to the extent of the topics, the necessity of considering different aspects of business methods of RGA and the variety of data in the future offer, the workshop was held in multiple sessions. At the beginning, it included all the members of the working group, which were subsequently divided into sectors, so that the workshop continued in three separate groups in the following way: : 1) Geodetic works and Real Estate Cadastre, 2) Information and Communication Technologies, 3) Topography and Cartography, Legal works and Archive. At the end of the second day, the final conversation was held with the representatives of the RGA with the most important role in the development of the future strategy and solution. In the conversation the focus of the following activities was set in accordance with the priorities, and the activities which are to be conducted in the next phase of the web shop development, and which are currently not of a primary interest, were defined.
Based on the considered questions and materials, the contracted expert Mr. Vahlhaus will develop the first proposal of the strategy for the development of a web shop solution adequate for the RGA, which is expected to be considered at the Workshop III, before the end of 2017.
